It will be introduce popular iOS apps such as Messages, Notes, Reminders and Game Centre to the Mac for the first time. It will be also compatible with iCloud, Apple’s cloud-based storage system for music, films and other media and also introduce AirPlay mirroring, meaning Mac owners will be able to stream video content from their computer to a TV using Apple TV. Apple replaced the iChat app with the Messages app and it will allow users to send unlimited messages, photos and videos from their computer and also Twitter apps that bring the desktop system more in line with mobile products. For security, apple added new feature called Gatekeeper that allows for personalised security settings, working as a kind of safety net for less confident users by offering a setting that allows the Mac to accept only software downloaded from the Mac App Store.
