Today Google has launched new Google Maps app for iOS, and it’s available to download in the Apple iTunes App Store. It looks and functions more similarly to its Android counterpart than it does to the version that used to be bundled with iOS. It comes with all of the features you’d expect: turn-by-turn voice-guided driving directions, transit and walking directions, 2D and 3D maps, Street View and aerial imagery, and more.
After seven hours, it has became the most downloaded free app in the Apple App Store. It has ousted Apple’s own ’12 Days of Christmas’ app. Google also introduced an SDK that gives developers a chance to integrate it into their iOS apps and also they bringing its indoor maps to the apps, as well as offering offline maps and a dedicated iPad app. Findout more about new Google Map app here.
